Effective immediately, we’re looking for a Full Stack Developer Digital Supply Chain (all genders) to become a part of our Global Products & Services team, located in Salzburg, Austria . It will be a permanent full-time position (hybrid) . Your gig : You will be part of an agile team, working on global projects, creating the systems and services that enable the success of UMG You will work on enhancing our digital supply chain, make it fit for future challenges and adding innovative new features to expand UMGs leadership in music space You will build systems & services which integrate with existing applications & functions across all domains of the business (finance, data, distribution, playlist curation etc.) Beside writing your own code, you will be involved in architecture sessions but also participate in code reviews, feature testing and bug fixing; You will continuously acquire a deep understanding of UMG’s IT landscape and become a key member of the UMG platform and services team We build it, we run it - You will have operational responsibility for the software you build and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with business users, operations and product owners on the future of the platform We are keen to jam with you if you : You are an excellent software developer experienced in creating microservices architectures, knowing about its joys and challenges and are excited to build something with HA and scaling in its DNA You are keen to work on the frontend as well as on the backend, having professional experience with Java and ReactJS; Angular is a plus You are skilled in GIT, CI / CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions), paired with the ability to write automated tests & testable code You are familiar with containerizing applications, deploying them into a Kubernetes cluster in a public cloud (AWS, GCP) environment and are eager to become an expert You are passionate about testing software, have worked as a QA-Engineer and want to expand your capabilities as a Software Engineer You are familiar with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle and know about patterns / antipatterns to write performant queries You feel confident and natural reading, writing, and speaking English and can communicate efficiently in tech as well as business-related contexts Your personality matters : Software engineering is a team-gig : Getting along with each other on a professional level is important; talking the same language is crucial; knowing when and how to say yes or no, when to ask questions, how to disagree in a constructive way is critical Don’t expect everything to be pre-digested : you have a voice and an impact on the success of the product which is driven by a constant feedback loop that surfaces different perspectives; you will need to look at problems and creatively come up with solutions on your own You strive for mastery in your profession; you are a life-long learner and never lose your curiosity You've been described as reliable and well-organized which allows you to stay focused, structured and calm - even in stressful situations Your thinking is guided by strategy, analysis, and innovation which enables you to connect the dots quickly and logically You favor pragmatic approaches and know the difference between a perfect and a functional solution What we have to offer ?
