Python Engineering Manager

The company is a global software development company that helps innovative startups and enterprises build, scale, and optimize their technology solutions. With a presence in key markets, they specialize in assembling top-tier engineering teams that deliver high-quality, scalable digital products. Their expertise spans Web & Mobile Development, AI/ML, Big Data, DevOps, Cloud Solutions, and more. As they continue to expand their footprint in the DACH region, they are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with native or near-native German and excellent English skills to drive our technical vision, strategy, and client engagement in the region.
As the CTO for the DACH region, you will be a key strategic leader, working closely with our clients, engineering teams, and business units to define and execute technology strategies. Your role will involve advising startups, mid-sized companies as well as enterprise businesses on technology decisions, leading discovery processes, and ensuring that the company stays at the forefront of innovation.
Lead AI workshops, support the productization of AI solutions, and drive their AI service offerings for the DACH region, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
- Partner with VC-backed startups and established enterprises to provide technical expertise and strategic guidance, ensuring their success.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, helping clients shape their software architecture, tech stack, and product roadmap.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to ensure high-quality, scalable software solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Represent the company at industry events, tech conferences, and networking forums, strengthening their brand presence in the region.
- Work closely with their sales and demand generation teams to support technical pre-sales efforts, providing insights on best-fit technologies and solution architectures.
- Establish best practices for technology roadmaps, DevOps, and agile methodologies to optimize software development efficiency.
C2 level of German and C1 English (a must).
- Proven experience in a CTO, Tech Lead, or Senior Engineering role, preferably within a digital consultancy, software development company, or startup ecosystem.
- Java, NET/C#, Kotlin, Go, Node.js, Python/Django, JavaScript.
- Ability to drive technology strategy and provide executive-level technical guidance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Background in HealthTech/FinTech or regulated industries
- Experience in complex, compliance-driven sectors.
