Senior Backend Developer (Python) | REMOTE

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Voice of Customer unit. In this role, you’ll help build and evolve the Surveys, Interviews, and User Tests , a set of tools that enable our customers to collect rich, qualitative feedback from millions of users. These features are deeply integrated with the rest of our platform, helping customers make smarter decisions by connecting the voice of users with behavioral data.
You’ll primarily work on Python microservices owned by our team, occasionally contributing to services written in Node/TypeScript or the React-based frontend.
Our stack includes PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis , runs on AWS with Kubernetes , uses third party integrations with Twilio and Daily.This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys solving complex backend problems in a product-focused environment, or for a strong mid-level engineer ready to grow into a senior role.
You can be based remotely in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, the UK or hybrid from our Paris, Milan, Munich, Barcelona or London offices .

Build and evolve the backend services behind our Voice of Customer products (Surveys, Interviews, User Tests)
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code primarily in Python
Optionally contribute to services in Node/TypeScript and to the React frontend
Take ownership of significant projects or components, breaking them into iterative deliverables
Support continuous improvement of our engineering culture and team dynamics

5+ years of professional experience , with deep expertise in Python
~ Strong foundations in SQL ; You’ll be joining a distributed team working across multiple countries in a fully remote setup. We're looking for someone who thrives in a remote environment, communicates proactively, and enjoys working with colleagues from diverse cultural and technical backgrounds.
