Engineer PE/CAM Software Systems

In your role, your solutions will drive smarter production, shape high-end PE/CAM systems, and turn complexity into smooth operations.

Your Responsibilities

Create and use automation scripts to make PE/CAM processes faster and reduce mistakes
Improve and update internal PE/CAM tools to make them easier and more efficient for users
Analyze how PE/CAM processes work and find ways to make them better
Keep your own tools up to date so they match current production needs
Help set clear rules for how software is built and documented
Build and manage databases to organize important PE/CAM data
Work with other departments to check if ideas are technically possible and help connect systems
Be the main contact for IT and external partners to keep systems secure and running smoothl

Your Profile

Completed technical education (e.g. HTL, HTBLA, FH, or university) or several years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language, ideally Java
Experience with modern development tools such as Git, Maven, and Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
Understanding of relational databases like MSSQL
Experience with Perl and Shell scripting is a plus
Familiarity with GNU/Linux systems and Windows Server is an advantage
Good spoken and written German and English skills for internal and external communication
